This website contains Rabobank Group’s 2009 Report and Financial Statements. The Report is an integrated publication comprising financial and CSR-related information and is based on the Financial Statements, the Annual Report and the other information of Rabobank Nederland, as referred to in Book 2, Part 9 of the Dutch Civil Code. An auditor’s report as referred to in Section 393, paragraph 5 of Book 2 the Dutch Civil Code has been issued on the Financial Statements of Rabobank Nederland. This Report has been issued in the form of an unqualified opinion, and the external auditor has not emphasised any specific matters.
This Report has been prepared in accordance with the G3 Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative. The CSR sections in this Report are based on the document entitled ‘Working together towards a sustainable future’. An independent external auditor has issued an assurance report on this document, including the CSR facts and figures contained therein.
How this website works
The information in this website is presented in a different format from what you may be used to on many other websites. The full contents of the reports Annual Summary have been divided into articles, with keywords linked to each article. You will find these keywords in the menu on the left-hand side of your screen. By clicking a keyword, you can search within reports and refine your search results. After each click, only those articles remain that correspond with the keywords you clicked on, enabling you to find the information you are looking for quickly, and from various angles.
An example
Let’s assume you want to know more about Rabobank’s CSR targets in the area of real estate. To do this, first click on, for example, the ‘CSR’ subject field. This leaves all the sections concerning ‘CSR’ as a search result (see Figure 1).

Then click on ‘Targets', under ‘Strategy', and a list of articles about CSR targets is displayed. The figures behind the titles indicate how many sections relate to this subject (see Figure 2).

By clicking ‘Real estate’, under ‘Products and services’, you open the page ‘Rabo Real Estate Group’s ambition for real estate: investing in the future’ (see Figure 3).

Additional features
This website has several additional features to facilitate your search:
1. Sorting information

2. Searching by keyword
You can enter keywords into the search field. The results can then be refined using the facet menu on the left-hand side of the screen (see Figure 5).

3. Previous / Next result
From any page, you can navigate to the previous or the next search result with a single click (see Figure 6).

4. Related information
Links to related information are presented underneath many articles. These may be links within this website, but also links to external websites (see Figure 7).

5. My RaboReport
You can add sections of interest to My RaboReport. This enables you to combine several articles into a single PDF file that you may print or download (see Figure 8).
